If you use the source rpm packages to rebuild the binary rpm for your platform, rpm --rebuild will complain about a missing symlink in /tmp/, just create this symlink. Alternativelly, you may follow the instructions for creating rpm packages from the fvwm or fvwm-themes sources manually.
Note: You need to install only one fvwm rpm (try the first one). Please read README before installing it. Here are some required packages for libstroke, fribidi. They should help if your distribution (RedHat) does not provide better alternatives.
